Can I transfer my credit report from another country to the US credit bureaus?
Credit reports and credit histories do not transfer from country to country. There are legal, technical and contractual barriers that prevent a person from transferring their credit report to a different country. Unfortunately, this often means that a new immigrant to the US will need to begin to build a new credit history.
