Credit and Financial Counseling
Many nonprofit organizations provide free credit and financial counseling services to assist members of the community with managing finances. Counselors – also known as coaches - may be certified, some may specialize in specific areas, and their organizations may offer a variety of other social services. These professionals can help with budgeting, managing credit, paying off debt, preparing for homeownership, and more.
FICO partners for credit counseling
FICO is pleased to partner with the National Foundation for Credit Counseling. NFCC is a leading nonprofit organization that provides a wide range of credit counseling services through its network of nonprofit credit counseling agencies.

There are also over 200 nonprofit organizations that partner with FICO to provide credit and financial counseling or coaching. These nonprofit organizations can review your credit report and FICO® Score with you, for free or a nominal fee. They can help with creating a budget, paying off debt, preparing for homeownership, and more.
